ASEDD History

ASEDD was born from the efforts of CareGivers who needed to discuss the issues each faced.  These CareGivers, having found little support existed begin to meet in the Spring of 2016, led by charter members of the board.  As a result of these support groups meetings, former and current people with interest in fighting Dementia formed a non-profit in October of 2020, so that never again would someone be without resources to deal with a Dementia.  Today, the support groups for CareGivers continue, meeting twice weekly in Delta County, with a group bi-weekly for those afflicted with a Dementia, and respite hours provided to those that attend groups regularly.
